Blossom the labrador retriever mix: adoptable dog from the St. Louis Senior Dog Project

Featured adoptable dog from St. Louis Senior Dog Project

Blossom is an 8 year old, 40lbs, labrador retriever/ jack russell mix available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project.

Blossom is a sweet gal in search for a home, not any home mind you, she has very specific requests: 1. Tons of petting, 2. Tons of petting, 3. Tons of love! Blossom really enjoys spending time with humans of all kinds and she would love a forever home.

Her foster family however does request that Blossom go live in a home with a tall fenced in yard (5-6ft) because Blossom is a very inquisitive gal, and proves that just because she is in the "older" dog category a fence is not going to stop her from exploring! A tall fence would prevent her from jumping and getting out, in addition her foster family thinks she would likely do well in apartment too.

Blossom is housebroken, enjoys walks and she would make a great family addition. If you would like to meet Blossom or other adoptable dogs stop by the Kirkwood Petco this weekend from 11am to 3pm or check out the St. Louis Senior Dog Project's website.
