Get Ready. Set. Kick It!

On Friday, February 1, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, The Magic House is teaming up with Vetta Sports to teach kids and parents fun soccer skills while encouraging healthy family play.  With the help of Vetta staff, kids will learn techniques on how to dribble, pass and control the soccer ball.  Plus, they have the chance to visit the oversized indoor Bounce House where they can jump with Thumper, Vetta’s kangaroo mascot.  This soccer-themed Fitness Fun Friday is sure to kick up those heart rates and score a goal!

Sponsored by Centene Corporation, Fitness Fun Fridays take place on the first Friday evening of every month from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and feature a variety of fun health and fitness activities with different themes and partners each month. Fitness Fun Fridays give families the opportunity to play their way to a healthier lifestyle. Pedometers are available for visitors to track how many steps they take just playing in the Museum. The answer is surprising!

Fitness Fun Fridays are free with museum admission but registration is recommended. Children who complete a Fitness Challenge, available on The Magic House website,  receive free admission to The Magic House for Fitness Fun Friday. To register or print the fitness challenge, please visit The Magic House online at www.magichouse.org. The first 100 visitors to attend Fitness Fun Friday will receive a
backpack filled with healthy goodies and take-home activities.
