Quilters and non-quilters alike will be awed and inspired at “Fantasy in Fabric,” Thimble & Thread Quilt Guild of Greater St. Louis’ Quilt Expo 2013 on Saturday and Sunday, March 16-17, 2013. Times will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday; 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, at the Greensfelder Recreation Center in Queeny Park at 550Weidman Road between Manchester and Clayton roads, in Ballwin, Mo. 63011.
Over 300 quilts by guild members will be on display, including quilts by Ricky Tims, challenge quilts by guild members, plus Gifts of Love ticket raffles to benefit Room at the Inn, two quilt raffles, special exhibit by four quilting couples, quilt appraisals, demos, vendors and more. Cost will be $7 for adults, $1 for children 6 to 12, free under age 6.
