Exploring Fall Wildflowers and Trees

Join a past president of the Missouri Native Plant Society and author of Steyermark's Flora of Missouri for an exhilarating and educational hike through Emmenegger Nature Park. Expect to see asters, goldenrods, sumacs and the first glimpse of fall colors. You'll learn to identify Missouri native trees, shrubs, and wildflowers and enjoy their beauty. Wear hiking shoes and weather-appropriate gear; bring a camera and notebook, if desired. Held rain or shine. Open to all.
Meet at the trailhead kiosk by the creek.
