Let It Be Christmas

The fifth annual production of Let it Be Christmas is coming to the

Kirkwood Community Center’s Robert Reim Theater.  Performances of the rock opera will be held

on Sunday, December 15- Tuesday December 17 at 7:30 p.m. The St. Louis community is invited to witness

this fresh performance of the Gospel according to Matthew, Mark, Luke, John,

Paul, George and Ringo.

Let

it Be Christmas, a production of Kirkwood United Methodist Church (KUMC),

tells the story of Mary, Joseph, and the birth of Jesus through the Beatles’

music.  The show offers a distinctive

holiday experience for the St. Louis audience.

The show’s director, Rocky

Marlowe says, “it’s

incredible, every year the shows sell out, people really respond to this unique

telling of our age-old story.  The

carefully selected collection of Beatles’ songs in our production is authentic

to the lives of Mary and Joseph, real people going through strife and

ultimately genuine joy at the birth of Jesus.

Retelling their story with a modern twist makes it fresh, relatable and

inviting.” And this year we’ve added a new scene and a few new songs to further

surprise and delight!”

All tickets are reserved seating

and choice of seat is on a first come first serve basis.  Tickets are available for $15 or $12 for

seniors (65+) and children 12 and under.

Tickets are being sold at kirkwoodumc.org, or at Kirkwood United

Methodist Church located at 201 W. Adams in Kirkwood 314-966-8167.
