National Weather Service Severe Storm Spotter and Public Safety Training Class

The Sky Club of STLCC Meramec will be hosting Mr. Jim Kramper, official trainer for the local National Weather Service office, who will be presenting a Severe Storm Spotter and Public Safety Training Class on Saturday February 22, 2014 from 9:00 AM -12:00 PM in the Meramec Campus theatre.

This event is free and open to all members of the public. The class covers a wide range of topics including how to identify the formation of severe weather systems and emergency procedures. Mr. Kramper provides a class that is both educational and fun for all ages. Individuals 16 + years of age who complete the training will be eligible to register as an official volunteer storm spotter for the National Weather Service.
