Barron Chiropractic joins KidSmart with their "Tools for Schools" School Supply Drive

In the wake of rising costs and budget cutbacks, Barron Chiropractic is joining forces with KidSmart to ensure that
teachers and students in need have the supplies necessary for aproductive school year.

Through their “Tools for Schools” school supply drive, Barron Chiropractic will collect new school supplies for the schools and students of St. Louis.  The goal of the program is to ensure that every student begins the school year with the supplies and positive outlook necessary to reach their full academic, physical and mental potential.  They hope to expand the program and make it an annual appeal.

“We look at wellness as more than just physical health,” said Dr. Barron of Barron Chiropractic.  “Our kids are under enormous pressure.  If we can relieve this one stress from their lives I believe they will not only be healthier in mind, body and spirit, but better able to learn as well.”

Donations of general school supplies, including No. 2 pencils, blue or black pens, plastic rulers, spiral notebooks, 2-pocket folders, glue sticks, crayons and washable markers, will be accepted on site at Barron Chiropractic. In addition, non-traditional items that are in need include zipper freezer bag (all sizes), TI-30X calculators, solar calculators, baby wipes and sanitizing wipes.

“Many teachers from the area schools visit our office on a regular basis. The conversation ultimately turns to work and it’s amazing how much of their own money they use each year to buy supplies for the kids who don't have them,” added Dr. Barron.  We wanted to help them out, as well as help out the students.”
