Aberdeen Heights Residents, Staff Celebrate Furry Friend’s Birthday With Donations to Animal Protective Association of Missouri

Aberdeen Heights, a senior living community in Kirkwood, celebrated therapy dog Angie's 7th birthday with cake and a donation to charity.

Aberdeen Heights residents gathered on Friday, May 3, at The Glen, the community’s health center, to celebrate the 7th birthday of a furry friend. Angie, resident Vinnie Warner’s Scottish sheepdog, has been visiting residents of the senior living community’s health center twice a week for more than a year.

Angie has formed a special bond with residents, including many who are in memory support or assisted living and love having her visit. The birthday party was a hit among residents who met to watch Angie enjoy her own birthday cake.

In lieu of presents for Angie, Aberdeen Heights donated $100 to the Animal Protective Association of Missouri.
