Help a Nonprofit! Sign Up for the Patch e-Newsletter

We're donating up to $3,000 to local charities. You have until June 10 to make it happen. Patch employees are active volunteers in our communities, stepping away from our laptops to give back during our Give 5 days. We decided to give more than our time.

Want to get the word out about the good work that a nonprofit is doing in the St. Louis area? Post an announcement on Patch!

We're not a stuffy, old-fashioned community news site. We actually make it easy for you to share the good news in your neighborhood.

If you're coming to this article on an iPhone, we apologize, but you can't see our entry form. Please visit Patch from a computer to take part in our Nonprofit Newsletter drive.

If I were you, I would sign up again--or try! Don't want to miss out, in case it's not retroactive.

If you're already signed up for one, you could sign up for another Patch newsletter, or you could encourage a friend to sign up for one :)

Paul Kruse President and founder of First Step Back Home, Inc. 501(c) 3 Public Charity. We have a solid and successful plan for the homeless and those about to be, to obtain a self-supporting lifestyle and status. We help over 600 homeless men, women and children every year. We are limited in the act of helping everyone in need only by the lack of volunteers, staff and finances. We have a time proven plan which in over 7 years we have helped over 4500 people with over half obtaining jobs and housing and God has sent us over $700,000 in non-Governmental funding. We also have a trucker ministry which we have served over 4100 drivers and a jail ministry that has bailed out and have become successful with a self-supporting life style, for 12 Wentzville inmates. We can always use more volunteers, staff and funding to allow us to help more people. We currently recieve from 20 to 30 calls per day for help. We presently have over 600 donors and 75 Churches and organizatins that help us. But this still is not enough. There are over 3 million out of 6 million people in Missouri who are suffering with low income, dissabilties, welfare recipients and more who ane not able to be self-supporting that needs help. Thank You! God Bless You! Paul and Lana Kruse 636-466-1365 www.firststepbackhome.net paulwkruse@centurytel.net
