Celebrate 15 Years of Saving Lives at the 15th Annual Susan G. Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure®

Race with a mission to save lives and end breast cancer at the 15th Annual Susan G. Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure® in downtown St. Louis on Saturday, June 15, 2013. The St. Louis Affiliate of Susan G. Komen invites the community to celebrate “the 15th on the 15th” – the 15th Komen St. Louis Race on the 15th of June. For the sixth consecutive year, the Race is locally presented by Wells Fargo Advisors.

Race registration is open at www.komenstlouis.org. Register as an individual. Form a team. Join a team. Try the timed 5K run/walk. Or choose to Sleep in for the Cure.

The Komen St. Louis Race raises funds for the local fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship, and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease.

Seventy-five percent of the net money raised through the Komen St. Louis Race stays in the St. Louis community to fund life-saving breast health and breast cancer screening, treatment, education and support programs for local women, men and families who otherwise may not have access.

The remaining 25 percent funds groundbreaking global breast cancer research, including research happening right now in St. Louis.

More than 100 percent of the funds raised by Komen St. Louis since 1999 has come back to the St. Louis community.
