Dine Out to Fight Breast Cancer at the 5th Annual Komen St. Louis Dine Out for the Cure® on June 13

Take action in the local fight against breast cancer just by dining out for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner on Thursday, June 13, during the 5th Annual Susan G. Komen St. Louis Dine Out for the Cure®. Participating restaurants throughout the St. Louis metro area will donate a portion of their proceeds to benefit life-saving, local breast health programs and breast cancer research funded by Susan G. Komen® St. Louis. Visit www.komenstlouis.org for a list of participating restaurants, hours of service and locations categorized by neighborhood/city. Komen St. Louis encourages Dine Out participants to "tweet and eat" by following @KomenSTL on Twitter and using the official event hashtag: #KomenSTLDine. Local restaurants participating in Dine Out agree to donate 20, 35 or 50 percent of the day's proceeds to the cause. Since the inaugural Dine Out for the Cure in 2009, more than 350 restaurants and thousands of dining customers have raised more than $365,000 to support the local fight against breast cancer. Seventy-five percent of the net funds raised through Dine Out for the Cure stays in the St. Louis area to fund breast health and breast cancer screening, education and patient navigation programs for those who may not otherwise have access. The remaining 25 percent funds global breast cancer research, including research being done in St. Louis. Fight breast cancer in our community. Dine Out on Thursday, June 13.
