Men’s Medical Institute to Host Grand Opening on April 22

St. Louis' first testosterone treatment center will host local dignitaries at ribbon cutting ceremony

Men’s Medical Institute(MMi), the first organization in the St. Louis metropolitan area dedicated exclusively to the treatment of testosterone deficiency (Low-T) in men, will host the Mayor of Des Peres, Kirkwood-Des Peres Area Chamber of Commerce Board members and Ambassadors at its grand opening event on Monday, April 22. Located at 1062 Old Des Peres Road, the official ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at approximately 12:00 p.m.

“The City of Des Peres is excited to welcome another business to our community,” said Mayor Richard Lahr of Des Peres.

Founded by Dr. Stephen Benz, M.D. and Dr. Ted Mimlitz, M.D., MMi specializes in Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), which has been proven effective by countless studies in alleviating the problems caused by Low-T in men. Testosterone levels peak at age thirty and decrease each year by one to two percent. Low testosterone levels can cause fatigue, a decline in muscle function, increased body fat, problems with concentration, sleep and mental sharpness and a decrease in stamina and endurance.

“Low testosterone is often overlooked in men because we ignore the symptoms or attribute them to getting older,” said Dr. Stephen Benz, M.D., President of Men’s Medical Institute. “MMi is committed to educating men, their spouses and the greater community on the importance of addressing and treating Low-T to live a healthier and active lifestyle.”
