Calling All St. Louis Clunkers… Donate Your Car for Free Six Flags Tickets

ST. LOUIS – MERS/Goodwill has partnered with Six Flags St. Louis to offer a promotion for the month of June in which donors of automobiles, running or not, will receive six general admission tickets to Six Flags St. Louis. Goodwill accepts all vehicles, even clunkers, including cars, trucks, vans, trailers, some boats and RVs. The tickets are valid for the 2013 season.

“We’re so grateful that Six Flags agreed to partner with us on this new promotion,” said Dr. Lewis Chartock, President and CEO of MERS/Goodwill. “This will be a big summer for Goodwill. The promotion, combined with the overwhelming generosity of people in St. Louis, will help us give back to the community in a very impactful way.”

All donated vehicles are sold throughout the bi-state area, and the money generated is used to support MERS/Goodwill’s employment and rehabilitation programs. The programs provide individuals in the community with the training to achieve productivity and employment in their life. In 2012, MERS/Goodwill’s served more than 48,000 clients, all benefiting from the revenue of donations sold, in addition to grants and other funding throughout the year.
