Joyfully Sing

So it is December.  That means different things to different people.  Trips to the mall, eating too much, family gatherings, travel, finals, covering the outside of the house in lights and decorating the inside of your home are just a few of the things going on.  If you happen to be a musician, add a couple of concerts to the list.

Kirkwood Children's Chorale is ready to show off all their hard work of the last 3 months.  This Sunday, December 15 at 3:00pm at the Dale Williams Fine Arts Center on the campus of Missouri Baptist University.  Tickets can be purchased by calling 314 803-2007.  Join us for holiday favorites with KCC's own flair.

Congratulations are also due to one of our Administrative Board members and our own Concert Choir.

Mrs. Vinnie Warner, retired Parkway School administrator and KCC Board member, was honored by Commerce Bank for volunteerism and community service last week.  Vinnie is always a positive influence, always upbeat and ready to get things done in all the organizations she for which she is associated.  We are blessed and honored to have her on our board.

Concert Choir performed with the St. Louis Philharmonic last Friday night at the William D. Purser, DC Center on the campus of Logan University in Chesterfield.  For several of our members, it was the 3rd time they have performed with the Philharmonic.  Quite a feat for middle school singers!  It is always an honor to be asked to perform with such quality musicians.  We thank Robert Baker, conductor, Marilyn Humiston and the musicians and staff of the Philharmonic for the invitation and opportunity to make beautiful music  together.

We hope you can join us this Sunday as we "Joyfully Sing" the season.
