Kirkwood Public Library Collects Food For Fines

Have fines on your library card? Have no fear. Between now and April 19th you can use unexpired canned and boxed goods to pay off your library card fines. Each item is considered the equivalent of $1 and you can pay up to $20 in this fashion. You cannot use goods to pay for lost, damaged, or interlibrary loan items. Have a library card that is fine free? Donations of canned and boxed goods are also accepted and will benefit Kirk Care a local food pantry

Courtney Flesch is the Stack Maintenance, Teen, & IT Manager and is currently reading Doctor Sleep by Stephen King.  Visit your Kirkwood Public Library at 140 E. Jefferson Avenue, or call us at 821-5770.  Follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
