KPL’s New Website

As many library users may have noticed, the Kirkwood Public Library has a new website.  The site has a familiar look and feel.  For those that would like a more guided visit to the website, we have put together a little video tour which is posted on the Library’s YouTube page.

One feature we are very proud to bring to our patrons is a custom built search widget (a simple web application programmed to perform a certain task and packaged as a small graphic interface) with the capability to search Consumer Reports on our EBSCOHost Academic Search Elite database.  Simply punch in your search term and retrieve a list of articles.  This is accessible in the library and from home (requires a Kirkwood Public Library card in good standing).
