Kirkwood's Memorial Day Service Today at 10 a.m.

Stop by the Veterans Memorial Walkway to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

This morning,  The Kirkwood American Legion Post 156 will host its annual Memorial Day Service  in the Veterans' Memorial Walkway next to the Kirkwood City Hall.

Captain Gary Woepke, who recently retired as assistant chief of police for the city of Glendale, will be the guest speaker.

In case of rain, the service will be held at the Kirkwood Train Station portico, at the corner of Kirkwood Road and Argonne Avenue. According to the National Weather Service, today there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4 p.m..
