Kirkwood Football Beats Pattonville 38-10 in Season Opener

The Kirkwood Pioneer football team kicked off their 2012 season with a solid 38-10 victory at home against Pattonville. The Pioneers next face Hazelwood East at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 2.

  • Jordan Bishop lead the Pioneer offense as the QB the whole first half.  He finished the game 10 for 16 for 193 yards passing and 12 for 114 yards rushing.  Jordan also blasted a 52 yard punt in the first quarter.
  • Jarrod Bishop, Josh Spiller, Marcus Baldwin and Triphinue Tayler each recorded a sack on defense.
  • Kirkwood faces Hazelwood East next Sunday at 5pm at East St. Louis HS.  The game will be aired on Fox Sports Midwest (delayed) at 10:30pm the following day (Monday, September 3).
