Kirkwood Dominates Parkway Central to Advance to State Championship

The undefeated Kirkwood Pioneers beat Parkway Central 42-7. Kirkwood will play Fort Osage in the State Championship on Friday at 7:30pm.

  • QB Jordan Bishop finished the game 11 of 16 for 123 yards passing & 3 TDs.  He also ran the ball 11 times for 57 yards and 1 TD.
  • RB Ramon Alton ran the ball 11 times for 65 yards and 1 TD.
  • The Pioneer defense forced 5 turnovers and held the Colts offense without a first down until halfway through the second quarter.
  • The Pioneer defense held Parkway Central to 75 yards rushing on 25 attempts (3.0 yards per carry).

  
What is Next: Kirkwood vs. Fort Osage!  The Class 5 State Championship game will be held on Friday, November 23 at 7:30pm at the Edward Jones Dome.  Ticket and broadcast information for the quarterfinal matchup will be included in the preview article here on Kirkwood Patch! 

Turkey Day:  The Turkey Day Game will be played on Thanksgiving at noon at Moss Field in Webster Groves by freshmen and sophomores.  Also don't miss the Chili Cook-Off and Pep Rally on Wednesday night at Kirkwood High School.
