One of the top complaints when buyers are looking for a new home is that there is not enough closet space.
When looking at a closet with just a clothing hanger rod you feel that there isn’t enough room for anything. That rod takes up so much space. Once removed there is a lot you can do to fit so much more. I always thought all my clothes needed to be hung up. After installing a shelf above the rod I ended up only needing half the rod and installed more shelves, decorative baskets, angled shelves for shoe storage, labeled boxes for seasonal items and a hanging accessories holder.
So if closet space is the only thing holding you back on the home check to see if you could make it work with these ideas.
