Learn How Kaldi's Coffee Gets From the Farms to Your Cup

Watch as we present info about a few of our coffee producers & what goes into harvesting great, speciality coffee.

A few weeks ago Kaldi's green coffee buyer, Tyler Zimmer, took a trip to visit with some of our coffee farms in El Salvador and Nicaragua. During these trips Tyler visits with the producers themselves, tours the farms, samples their harvests and helps build relationships at the source.

These trips are important to allow for a direct line of communication of what we look for when we are buying coffees. Many times producers are just concerned with quantity while we're only concerned with quality. Meeting with producers directly helps close that gap.

Last Friday Tyler gave a presentation at our roasting facility about his trip. He goes over each farm and how they differ from each other as well as the impact of coffee leaf rust

Head on over to our blog to catch the full video. What questions do you have about how coffee gets from the farms to our cafes and then your cup?

It is an illustrated nursing bra, but with one of the sides down, revealing a stylized, butRead More anatomically correct, breast. I agree it's a little much.
