Music at Meramec presents two showcases during October in the Meramec Theatre on campus,11333 Big Bend Road in Kirkwood.
The Meramec Symphonic Band and Orchestra will perform their fall 2013 premier concert, the Instrumental Showcase, at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13.
The Concert Choir, Chamber Singers and Voices of Magic will perform their fall 2013 Choral Showcase at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct 20. The event features classical and contemporary works from around the world, including works by Maurice Duruflé, Stephen Leek, Z. Randall Stroope, Frank Ticheli, Gioacchino Rossini, Ed Lojeski, Kirby Shaw and the U.S. premiere of a Filipino work.
