STLCC Chancellor Myrtle Dorsey Takes Leave from Duties
The St. Louis Community College Board of Trustees has granted Chancellor Myrtle E. B. Dorsey’s request for personal leave through June 30, 2014. Other details relating to Dorsey’s status with the college are being finalized.
Craig Larson, Ed.D., chair of the STLCC Board of Trustees, said, “We appreciate Dr. Dorsey’s contributions to STLCC and we wish her the best.”
Larson said that the board intends to hire an interim chancellor in the next few weeks to serve through June 2015, or until a permanent chancellor is named. Until that time, Donna Dare, Ph.D., vice chancellor for academic and student affairs, will serve as acting chancellor.
