Many informative sessions are scheduled throughout the day. Participants will have an opportunity to meet with a panel of local judges who have had judged the FIRST World Championship held in St. Louis. The judges will answer questions and help give teams an insight into what it takes to compete at the international level.

Participants also will have a chance to meet with successful rookie and veteran teams to discuss robotics.

In a question-and-answer session with the planning committee, coaches will have the opportunity to discuss league play and topics affecting FTC and what it means to teams in Missouri and Southern Illinois.

“The training camp is a way to bring the best of what we have to offer in FIRST together. Teams will be helping teams raise the bar for this year’s game, Block Party,” said Tom McGovern, engineering and technology professor at STLCC and member of the Missouri FIRST FTC Planning Committee.
