STLCC-Meramec “Faculty Exhibition” Opens Aug. 29

The Meramec Contemporary Art Gallery’s first show of fall 2013 will be "Faculty Exhibition," which runs Aug. 29 through Sept. 20 at the St. Louis Community College-Meramec campus, 11333 Big Bend Road in Kirkwood. 

An opening night reception is slated 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29. The opening reception and exhibit are free and open to the public.

The exhibit features work by the Meramec Art department faculty in various media, including photography, ceramics, sculpture, painting, drawing, printmaking, digital media and professional projects in the applied arts (graphic design, architecture and interior design).

Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday; and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. The gallery is closed Sundays and holidays.
