$2,000 in Tools Stolen From Kirkwood Home

Kirkwood police are also investigating a recent report of destruction of property.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. 

March 23:

At 12:10 p.m., police were called to a residential burglary in the 200 block of Smith Street. The resident said tools valued at $2,000 were taken from the home which was under construction.

March 21:

At 3:00 p.m., a victim contacted to police to report a theft that happened around 11:30 a.m., while shopping at a store in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road. The woman said her wallet, which contained credit cards, an ID, and $17, was taken from her shopping cart.

March 21:

At 7:36 p.m., police received a report of two males running from a retail store in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road. It was later determined the two allegedly stole a pair of Nike tennis shoes.

March 20:

At 2:12 p.m., police responded were called for property destruction in the 1200 block of Simmons. Fencing and playground equipment were damaged sometime overnight, police stated.
