$30K in Jewelry Reportedly Stolen From Kirkwood Home

Police are investigating a report of approximately $30,000 in stolen jewelry, plus electronics are stolen after a window is forced open on another home.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. 

April 1:

At 8:45 a.m., police were called for a burglary in the 100 block of West RosehillAvenue. The resident said a bowl containing approximately $150 in change was stolen while he was out of town over the previous weekend.

April 5:

At 2:20 p.m., police were called to the 11000 block of Big Bend Road for a report of stolen jewelry. Approximately $30,000 worth of jewelry was missing from the residence. Police said it was a delayed theft report and the jewelry was actually stolen sometime between January and March.

April 7:

At 10:13 p.m., police were called for a burglary in the 1000 block of Lacouer Drive. A kitchen window was reportedly forced open to gain access to the home. Jewelry, a purse, and electronics, including a TV, Macbook computer and a Kindle, were reportedly stolen.
