Andy Alderman has been with the Kirkwood Police Department for 5 years.  He was with the Kansas City, MO, Police Department for 12 years as a patrol officer and detective in internal affairs before joining Kirkwood.  Andy has experience in Kirkwood as a patrol officer and most recently as a general assignment detective of 3 1/2 years.

The promotions were made possible due to the recent retirements of two long-time lieutenants, Chris Nagel who served the citizens of Kirkwood for 31 years and Robert Kosyan, who served the citizens of Kirkwood for over 43 years.  While the department will miss the experience and dedication Chris Nagel and Robert Kosyan provided, we are pleased to have exceptional officers to take their place.
