$5,000 in Fraudulent Charges to Kirkwood Man's Bank Account

Plus, Kirkwood police arrest a driver after an accident involving a street sign.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. 

June 10:

At 11:31 a.m., police responded to the 1000 block of North Taylor Avenue for a report of fraud. The resident reported his bank account had been comprised resulting in over $5,000 worth of charges made against the account.

At 7:20 a.m., one person was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police were called to a car accident where the vehicle struck a street sign in the area of Kirkwood and Big Bend.

Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to contact the Kirkwood Police Department at 314-822-5858.
