Bike Found, Shoplifter Arrested in Kirkwood

Kirkwood Police Department provides information on the latest crime incidents in the area.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Sept. 20:
  • At 3:59 a.m., police responded to a business alarm in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road. Police arrived and discovered that someone had attempted to again entry through a rear door. No entry was made. 

Saturday, Sept. 21:
  • Police recovered a boy’s bicycle in the 2000 block of Briargate. The bicycle was brought to the station awaiting owner. 

Sunday, Sept. 22:
  • Kirkwood Police arrested an adult for shoplifting merchandise from an area business during the week of Sept. 16-22. The incident occurred at a retail store in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road. The subject was charged with trespassing, which was referred to municipal court and felony stealing, which was referred to state court.
