Car Stolen, Others Damaged in Kirkwood

Kirkwood Police Department provides information on the latest crime incidents in the area.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Sept. 25:
  • Detectives arrested an adult from St. Louis for felony stealing. The original case was reported in June by a resident in the 1000 block of North Taylor. The resident reported having more than $5,000 withdrawn from his bank account since November 2012. The case was referred to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for review. 

Friday, Sept. 27:
  • At 7:56 a.m. police responded to the 900 block of Carriage Circle for a stolen vehicle report. A 2006 Chevy Impala was taken sometime during the night. Several other vehicles on the lot also had damage and entry was made to those vehicles. Nothing was taken.
  • At 2:39 p.m. police responded to the 100 block of East Jefferson for a report of found property. A ring with clear stones was located and turned into the police department. The ring is being held at the police department awaiting owner.
