Copper Wire, DVD Thefts in Kirkwood

Kirkwood Police Department provides information on the latest crime incidents in the area.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Sept. 11:
  • Police received a report of a theft of two spools of copper wire valued at $307. The theft occurred several days prior at a business in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road.
Thursday, Sept. 12:
  • Officers handled a delayed report of theft from a business in the 1000 block of South Kirkwood Road. Numerous DVDs valued at more than $700 were taken sometime Sept. 9. 
  • At 6:58 p.m. a resident from the 100 block of Oakside reported destruction of property to police. The resident’s vehicle had a hole punched under the driver’s door lock. Entry was not gained to the vehicle.
