CRIME LOG: Driver Flees Crash at Car Dealership

The following information was provided by the Glendale Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Sept. 24

  • At 8:29 p.m., a 19-year-old Webster Groves man was arrested at the Crestwood Police Department and charged in Municipal Court with Failure to Appear. He was released on bond.

  • At 6:34 a.m., police are investigating an motor vehicle crash which occurred on the parking lot of Glendale Chrysler Jeep Dodge, 10070 Manchester Road, prior to the service department opening. Workers who arrived early for work observed a white pickup truck enter the parking lot from Manchester Road and strike two parked vehicles on the lot. The driver of the striking vehicle left the scene of the accident in an unknown direction.

Friday, Sept. 28

  • At 5:47 p.m., a 37-year-old St. Louis man was arrested in the 800 block of E. Essex Avenue and charged in Municipal Court with Disobeying a Stop Sign, No Proof of Insurance and as a Fugitive of the Maryland Heights Police Department. He was released to Maryland Heights authorities after posting bond on the Glendale charges.

  • At 7:50 a.m., a resident of the unit block of Frederick Lane reported vandalism to a concrete statue which was in her yard sometime overnight.
