CRIME LOG: Drug Arrests, Hit-and-Run in Glendale

The following information was provided by the Glendale Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, June 13

  • At 9:25 a.m., a men’s Trek bicycle was found abandoned on the parking lot of the Glendale Presbyterian Church, 500 N. Sappington Rd. The bicycle was brought to the Glendale Police Department for safekeeping until the owner is identified.
  • At 9:37 a.m., a suspect was identified in the theft of items from a residence in the 1000 block of Chelsea on May 10. Formal interviews and warrant applications are pending.
  • At 1:04 p.m., the insufficient funds check received by Glendale Chrysler Jeep Dodge and reported on June 6 was made good by the check issuer. No further action was requested.
  • At 2:57 p.m., a resident of the Country Club Terrace Condominiums reported the theft of two rings from her residence on or near May 11.  The resident’s housekeeper is suspected in the theft.

Thursday, June 14

  • At 10:59 a.m., a 67-year-old Hillsboro woman was interviewed at the St. Louis County Justice Center regarding her alleged involvement in the theft of two rings from a resident of the Country Club Terrace Condominiums reported on June 13. She allegedly confessed to the theft. Formal charges are pending.
  • At 3:14 p.m., a resident of the 100 block of Southarm Drive reported her identity and credit cards were used to make fraudulent purchases in the past several days. The purchases were discovered when the victim was checking her credit card information on line.

Friday, June 15

  • At 9:14 a.m., the resident of the Country Club Terrace Condominiums who reported two rings stolen on June 13 discovered several pieces of silver were also stolen. Police continue to investigate.
  • At 1:10 p.m., a resident of the 400 block of Elm Avenue reported several pieces of jewelry and silver were missing from her home over the past several years, allegedly by her trusted housekeeper. The suspect has been identified and police are investigating.
  • At 1:54 p.m., a resident of the 400 block of Belvedere Lane reported the loss of her wallet sometime last week. She was unsure of the location of the loss.

Saturday, June 16

  • At 10:39 a.m., a 42-year-old Glendale man was arrested in the unit block of Highland Place and charged in Municipal Court with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and as a fugitive of the . He was released to Kirkwood authorities after posting bond on the Glendale charges.
  • At 3:04 p.m., a 23-year-old St. Louis woman was arrested in the 9800 block of Manchester Road and charged in Municipal Court with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Provide Proof of Insurance and as a fugitive of the Ferguson and St. Louis City Police Departments.  She was released on bond.
  • At 11:39 p.m., a 22-year-old Ferguson woman was arrested at the Ferguson Police Department and charged in Municipal Court with Failure to Appear and as a Fugitive of the Arnold Police Department.  She was released on bond.

  • At 4:35 p.m., a resident of the 200 block of Elm Avenue reported her vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle, which then left the scene, sometime between 6:30-7:30 a.m. on June 11.
