CRIME LOG: Eggs Go Splat in Glendale

Homeowners were victims of an egging spree last week in Glendale. Here are weekly incidents from the Glendale Police Department.

The Glendale police blotter for Dec. 3-9. The following information was provided by the Glendale Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. 

Monday, Dec. 3

  • At 10:27 a.m., several items were taken from the front sidewalk of a consignment business in the 10,000 block of Manchester Road sometime during the night.
  • At 11:05 a.m., a 21-year-old Overland woman was arrested at the Glendale Police Department and charged in Municipal Court with Failure to Appear.  She was released on bond.
  • At 5:27 p.m., a resident of the unit block of Hill Drive reported the wires to his Christmas lights were cut sometime overnight.

Thursday, Dec. 6

  • At 8:22 a.m., a “fanny-pack” containing over the counter medication and personal items was found on the parking lot of Royal Banks of Missouri, 9990 Manchester Road, by the bank’s overnight custodian. The pack was brought to the Glendale Police Department awaiting owner identification.
  • At 11:17 p.m., a 20-year-old University City man was arrested in the 1300 block of N. Berry Road and charged in Municipal Court with Driving Without a License, Speeding and as a fugitive of the St. Louis County Police Department.  He was released to St. Louis County authorities after posting bond on the Glendale charges.

Friday, Dec. 7

  • At 8:07 p.m., a resident of the 500 block of Venneman reported two males egged his home then ran away. No permanent damage was done to the home.
  • At 8:16 p.m., a resident of the 1000 block of Glenmoor reported two males egged his home then ran away. No permanent damage was done to the home.

Saturday, Dec. 8

  • At 8:07 a.m., a resident of the 400 block of Venneman reported her house was egged by persons unknown sometime overnight.  This is the second time this house has been egged in as many weeks.

Sunday, Dec. 9

  • At 7:38 a.m., a resident of the 1300 block of Brownell reported his house was egged by persons unknown sometime overnight. The resident stated this is becoming a regular occurrence.
  • At 10:37 a.m., the jewelry reported missing by a resident of the 800 block of Queen Anne Place on 10/1/2012 contacted the Police Department and stated she located the jewelry.  She had forgotten where she hid the items.
  • At 7:06 p.m., a resident of the 700 block of Edwin reported the theft of a landscaping light from her front yard sometime over the weekend.
