CRIME LOG: Police Investigate Car Leaving Scene of Accident

Weekly incidents from the Glendale Police Department.

The Glendale police blotter for Nov. 19-25. The following information was provided by the Glendale Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Nov. 19

  • SEE: Woman Charged in Theft From Regions Bank

Tuesday, Nov. 20

  • At 1:30 p.m., the City of Glendale Finance Department reported receiving an Account Closed check from a Rock Hill man for payment of Court fines. Police contacted the gentleman and are awaiting restitution.
  • At 6:56 p.m., a resident of the 1100 block of N. Sappington Road reported unauthorized solicitors in the area of her home. Several solicitors for Midtown Home Improvements were advised to cease until proper city permits were obtained.

Wednesday, Nov. 21

  • Police are investigating an accident where a vehicle struck a brick retaining wall at the corner of N. Sappington Road and Victoria Place and left the scene. The accident occurred sometime during the night.
