Kirkwood Police Investigate Attempted Burglary, Thefts

Kirkwood police report items were even stolen from a local storage unit.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

June 21:

At 9:30 a.m., police received a report of a larceny from a vehicle in the 300 block of E. Jefferson. The victim said her purse was stolen sometime overnight from her unlocked vehicle.

June 21:

At 10:47 p.m., police responded to the 1200 block of Stonecrest Place for a residential burglary. The resident arrived home to find the rear door frame to the home damaged, however entry was not made into the residence.

June 17:

At 10:17 a.m., police received a report of a larceny from a storage unit in the 400 block of West Adams Avenue. A set of custom made golf clubs and golf bag were stolen from a storage unit.
