Domestic Dispute Lands 16-Year-Old Girl in Police Custody

Glendale police took the teen into custody, then released her to juvenile authorities, plus one woman wakes up to find items stolen from her car.

The following information was provided by the Glendale Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. 

March 2:

At 4:14 p.m., police were called to a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of Belvedere Lane. Authorities took at 16-year-old female into custody for second degree domestic assault and armed criminal action. Investigators stated the juvenile was later released to the custody of St. Louis County Juvenile authorities.

At 8:06 a.m., a resident of the 1300 block of Beverly Avenue reported numerous items stolen from her car overnight. The car was reportedly parked in the driveway. Police stated a GPS unit, a pair of sunglasses, a cell phone adapter, a satellite radio and a tennis racket were stolen from her unlocked vehicle.
