Driver Tries to Escape Police After Accident
Kirkwood police tracked down a driver who allegedly fled after an accident that resulted in injuries.
A man involved in an accident that put a driver in the hospital couldn't escape Kirkwood police despite his efforts.
Kirkwood police officers were dispatched to the 11200 block of Manchester Road for a motor vehicle accident with injuries last Wednesday at 5:50 a.m. Officers found one adult driver injured who was later transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The other driver fled the area on foot, according to police. Officers located the driver a few blocks away and arrested him for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.
