Glendale Police Offer Prescription Drug Take-Back

It's a free service with no questions asked, just drop off your unused and unwanted prescription drugs this Saturday.

The Glendale Police Department is participating in the drug take-back event in an effort to keep prescription drugs out of the hands of people who might misuse or abuse them. It's also a way to keep the drugs out of our water supply system by preventing people from flushing them.

Glendale police stated in a news release that the department is working with the DEA and accepting any prescription drugs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 27 at the Glendale City Auditorium, 424 N. Sappington Road in Gledale.

Police suggested that for additional information residents should visit www.glendalemo.org, www.dea.gov (click on the “Got Drugs” link), or call 1-800-882-9539 for a collection site near you.
