Suspicious Vehicle Call Ends With Drug Arrest

The following information was provided by the Glendale Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

July 28:

At  11:39 p.m., officers responded to a suspicious vehicle call near the intersection of Chelsea and Venneman Avenues.  The driver, an 18-year-old Oakland man, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and was released on bond.  The passenger, a 19-year-old Webster Groves man, was arrested and charged as a fugitive of the Webster Groves Police Department and was released to Webster Groves authorities.

At 5:35 p.m., a resident of the 1200 block of Carol Ann Place reported the loss or theft of the front license plate from his vehicle.  The exact date, time and location of the loss was not known.

July 29:

At 9:18 p.m., a 30-year-old St. Louis man was arrested at the Town & Country Police Department and charged with failure to appear and as a fugitive of the Pagedale Police Department.  He was released on bond.

July 31: 

At 4:28 p.m., a resident of the 1300 block of Greentree Lane reported the theft of two chairs from his front yard sometime during the past two days.

August 3: 

At 4:45 p.m., a 48-year-old Imperial man was arrested in the 1300 block of W. Lockwood and charged with speeding and as a fugitive of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department.  He was released to Jefferson County authorities after posting bond.

August 4:

At 7:35 a.m., a 34-year-old Glendale man was arrested in the 10,000 block of Manchester Road and charged with driving while suspended and expired license plates.  He was released on bond.

August 4: 

At 8:58 a.m., a 28-year-old Webster Groves man was arrested at the Richmond Heights Police Department and charged with failure to pay fines and costs.  He was released after all fines and costs were paid in full.

August 4:

At 11:34 p.m., a 29-year-old Brentwood man was arrested in the 9800 block of Manchester Road and charged with felony driving while intoxicated, improper lane use and operating a motor vehicle with only one taillight.  He was released pending formal charges by the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
