Glendale Residents Report More Fallout From Schnucks Security Breach

Glendale police are receiving more reports from residents who are finding fraudulent charges on their debit and credit cards.

The following information was provided by the Glendale Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

April 13:

AT 11:26 a.m., a resident of the 300 block of Halcyon Drive contacted police to report her debit card number was fraudulently used in Chicago and Tinley Park, IL. Police said the woman believed her debit card number was compromised in the recent Schnucks security breach.

At 12:47 p.m., a resident of the 700 block of Josephine contacted police to report her credit card number had been used to make fraudulent purchases. The woman said she believes her credit card was compromised during the recent Schnucks security breach.

April 8:

At 7:08 p.m., police received a call from a resident of the 800 block of E. Essex who reported his credit card number was used to make fraudulent purchases in Brazil, Maryland and Kirkwood. Police said the man recently traveled to Brazil and believes two of his three credit card numbers were somehow obtained while in Brazil. However, the man also stated he believes a third credit card number was compromised during the recent Schnucks security breach.
