Helicopter Helps Kirkwood Police in Search for Traffic Stop Suspect

Kirkwood Police Department provides information the latest crime incidents in the area.

The following information was supplied by the Kirkwood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made.

Wednesday, Aug. 21:
  • Digital cameras and cash were stolen in an overnight burglary from a business in the 900 block of South Kirkwood Road. An employee reported the thefts at 6:15 a.m.

Thursday, Aug. 22:
  • Kirkwood Police officers and the Kirkwood Police canine unit assisted Sunset Hills Police in attempting to locate a person who fled from a traffic stop near South Geyer and Watson Road. The St. Louis County Police Department helicopter also assisted in the search, which was called off after the suspect could not be located.

Friday, Aug. 23:
  • A burgundy Harley Davidson motorcycle with windshield and saddlebags was stolen sometime overnight in the 900 block of Robert.
