KHS Grad Pleads Guilty to Knife-Point Rape

Sean Adams pleaded guilty Tuesday to the armed sexual assault of a Kirkwood neighbor. Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 6.

Kirkwood High School graduate Sean Adams (class of 2010) pleaded guilty Tuesday to the 2010 forcible rape of a Kirkwood woman who was in her 50s.

Adams pleaded guilty in St. Louis County court to charges of forcible rape, first-degree burglary, first-degree assault and three counts of forcible sodomy. One count of armed criminal action accompanied each charge, according to court documents. Sentencing for Adams is scheduled for Sept. 6.

The charges followed a sexual assault of a neighbor of Adams on Oct. 7, 2010. The victim lived on North Harrison Avenue. Adams, who was 19 at the time, lived in 200 block of Reedway Drive, according to the Webster-Kirkwood Times.

Armed with a knife, Adams reportedly broke into the home of the victim and sexually assaulted her around 2 a.m., according to KSDK.

Adams is the son of Kirkwood finance director John Adams.
