Jewelry, Laptop Taken from Kirkwood Residence

Kirkwood Police Department provides information the latest crime incidents in the area.

The following information was supplied by the Kirkwood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made.

Monday, Aug. 12:

  • Police responded to the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road for larceny from a vehicle at 7:50 a.m. The victim's car was parked on a lot since the previous week. When the victim returned, change and a small tool box were noted taken from the vehicle.
  • Identity theft was reported in the 900 block of Dickson at 5:17 p.m. The victim said a credit card had been opened with their information and was being used out of state.
  • A residential burglary was reported in the 700 block of Angenette at 8:12 p.m. Entry was gained to the residence by breaking a dining room window. Several pieces of jewelry were taken, along with a laptop.
