Theft of Ring Worth $1,000 Investigated by Kirkwood Police

Plus, Kirkwood police report electronics, including an iPod, were stolen from a car in a driveway overnight.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

July 14:

At 3:04 p.m., police responded to the 700 block of South Kirkwood Road for a theft report. A resident reported having a ring stolen. It was valued at more than $1,000.

July 8:

At 5:21 a.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Barby for a larceny from a vehicle. The victim reported sometime during the previous overnight hours a stereo and iPod were stolen from a vehicle parked in the driveway.

July 8 - July 14:

Police arrested five adults for shoplifting from area businesses during this week. The incidents occurred at a retail store in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road.
