Kirkwood Drug Take-Back Nets 300 Pounds of Prescription Drugs

The Kirkwood Police department reports 300 pounds of unwanted prescription drugs were collected during the national drug take-back day.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department in regard to last weekend's national prescription drug take-back event.

Kirkwood police assisted the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) with their bi-annual medication disposal at the Kirkwood Police Department. This year Kirkwood Police Department turned over approximately 300 pounds of unused or expired medication for proper disposal to the DEA.
