Firefighters Battle Early Morning Blaze in Kirkwood
Units were on the scene of a fully involved fire on Monroe Place from about 1-3 a.m. Tuesday.
Kirkwood firefighters spent the early morning hours battling a blaze that left a detached garage on Monroe Place in ruins.
The Kirkowod Fire Department responded to a fire at 424 Monroe Place where they found the property's detached garage fully involved in a fire, according to Kirkwood Fire Chief Thomas Openlander.
Units were on the scene from about 1-3 a.m. Tuesday. The garage was a total loss, Openlander said.
