Kirkwood Man Sentenced to 5 Years in Prison for Child Porn Possession

Former lawyer Larry Bauer received the minimum sentence for four federal charges of possessing child pornography.

Larry Bauer, a former lawyer from Kirkwood, was sentenced to five years in prison Thursday for four federal charges of possessing child pornography, the St. Louis-Post Dispatch reports.

St. Louis County Police seized two computers from Bauer’s home in Kirkwood July 23, 2008 after they said an Internet search revealed his computer possibly contained child pornography.

Bauer, 59, entered a blind guilty plea. Charges faced by Bauer carry sentences of 5 to 15 years in prison.
