Kirkwood Man Threatened Neighbor With Knives, Police Say
Police said the man started yelling at his neighbor when the man walked to his car Friday morning.
A man faces criminal charges for threatening a neighbor with knives at about 7:20 a.m. Friday in the first block of Melshire Court in Kirkwood.
Craig Gotsch, 51, of Kirkwood, was charged Friday with unlawful use of a weapon.
Kirkwood Police said a neighbor told them that he was walking to his car at about 7:22 a.m. Friday when Gotsch began yelling and swearing at him.

As the argument continued, the neighbor told police that Gotsch pulled out two fixed-blade knives about five inches long and said, “Bring it on or I’ll kill you,” according to a police report.
Police said Gotsch admitted displaying the knives during the argument.

Gotsch also faces two felony theft charges, stemming from an April 15 incident in Kirkwood.
